The Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Crafts CZ (AMSP CR) brings together small and medium-sized enterprises and craftspeople and their collective organisations from around the whole Czech Republic on an open, non-political platform. It successfully promotes the basic idea behind the Programme for the Development of Small and Medium-Sized enterprises in the CR, compiled in 2003.
The association cooperates with the government, individual ministries, and over recent years has initiated a host of statutory measures which are helping to create the business environment in the Czech Republic.
The association, which presents the opinion of the important majority from the sphere of SMEs, has an important place within the framework of European structures.
The AMSP ČR collaborates closely with CEBRE (the Czech Business Representation in Brussels). Many of our members have already availed themselves of these contacts and the services on offer.
The AMSP ČR is a member of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic and cooperates closely with other specialist and professional federations.
The AMSP ČR informs all of its members of the possibilities of cooperating within the framework of the EU and offers them assistance and consultation when selecting suitable projects.
Fostering of entrepreneurship is in main focus of the AMSP CR – for instance we work as an Intermediary Organisation in frame of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs and we're implementing project in frame of the LLP directly focused on issue of entrepreneurial approach in vocational education and training. Participated in projects that are solely focused on increasing women's entrepreneurship. The Association was a partner of the project "Entrepreneurship as a path to self-realization mothers taking care of children". The aimlpok of the project was to help parents on parental leave who are unable or unwilling to return to their jobs, to take on their projects without discrimination against childless women and men. Another Project "Moms, do not worry business. We will show you how to do it!" was targeted enforcement measures for the fulfilment of the principle of equal opportunities for women and men in the labour market and creating conditions for the reconciliation of family and working life.
Association is very active in educational field as well. On regular base it’s preparing different courses and trainings usually in close cooperation with specialized educational organizations.
Experience in area of diversity management
Considering the issue of diversity, AMSP CR focuses on equal opportunities for men and women in labour market and work-life balance, supporting women in their return to work (as mentioned above).
AMSP CR’s specific input to a project consists in grasp of business specifics and significant familiarity with SME’s needs and expectations. As organization associating SMEs, this partner has open access to target group, incomparable to any other partner. Cooperation with organizations such CEBRE (the Czech Business Representation in Brussels) or Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic guarantees not only effective execution of tasks but also wide dissemination of project itself as well as project outputs, and, the most important, enhances project sustainability.
